Safety by Design

We consider safety to be more than procedures and equipment. In order to have the lowest risk of on-the-job accidents a company needs to support a culture of safety. It's the way we think!

We work very hard to create an environment that fosters safe practices. The following are some of the ways we protect  personnel, promote a safety culture, and sharpens safety skills with all of our associates.

General Policies and Practices
  • All of our technicians have successfully completed a 10-hour Occupational Safety and Health training course and are certified by the U.S. Department of Labor (OSHA)
  • Training by an accredited safety organization.
  • Refresher safety courses.
  • Regular written safety testing.
  • A well kept safety SOP manual.
  • Cool suit mobility and task procedure training.

General Site Policies
  • The same number of technicians as are working must be suited up ready for retrieval or relief at all times.
  • Only authorized personnel are allowed into an established worksite parameter.
  • The Director of Field Operations monitors all on-site procedures for compliance to safety policies.

Site Environment
  • Updated MSDS manual.
  • New MSDS training.
  • Atmospheric procedural testing used on each job.
  • Pre-job site interviews.
  • Pre-job site inspections. (search for possible safety risks)
  • Site environment documentation. (pressures, temperatures, etc.)

Personal Protection Equipment
  • Aluminized fiberglass, double layer Q9 lined trousers, jacket, gloves, boots, and hood.
  • Air-cooled internal vest.
  • Directed cooled air into legs, hands, and arms.
  • Emergency air bottle.
  • Full-face respirator; externally fed with filtered and monitored air.
  • Two way radio communications.
  • Retrieval harness.

Insurance         We provide all required insurance coverage including:
  • A total of $7,000,000 Comprehensive General Liability Bodily Injury & Property Damage.
